Not everyone gets a tattoo because they're drunk/stupid/rebellious/a criminal/a follower etc. Whatever someone's reason for getting a tattoo (or several) is their own business. People should be able to feel free to adorn themselves with whatever type of body art they desire without fear of repercussions in the workplace or from society at large. I completely disagree w/ the whole "you must keep them covered at work" mentality. That's completely unrealistic for most people in today's predominantly business casual environment. Not to mention, I've never seen a case in which a person's body art had a negative impact on their work product/productivity. That being said, I'll admit that I will give the *sideeye* to someone with a tattoo on their neck or face, but hey, that's my issue, not theirs.
Re: Fashion trends in the UK

Design is made up of some basic premises, and if you understand them you can design anything that will impress and illuminate your customer.
Re: Shoes Make the Man

you should always try them as a pair and try walking. any sign of discomfort, take it off

Re: Tucking your button-up into your jeans

I think a nice button-down tucked into a pair of well-fit jeans looks debonaire and sexy. And it gives a guy a good reason to wear/show off a nice belt and buckle. And it also gives a guy a good reason to show off the physique just a bit. America has become overweight, and shirt-tucking is a good goal, as in, "I'm going to lose enough so that I look great in a tucked-in shirt!"
